Fine Lister horse/cattle blade – 1.4mm clip
Cutter blade – 17 teeth
Comb blade – 33 teeth
Whilst appearing to have an identical number of teeth to the A2/AC medium blade above the difference is in the closer clipping aspect resulting from a less thick lower blade plate.
Lister blades are described as “self clearing” – a feature which allows the hair to be swept away from the cutting teeth therefore enabling blades to clip at all times.
Precision ground ribbing on the back of the blades, in addition to reducing weight, adds stiffness from front to heal and flexibility from side to side. This combination we understand produces an optimum cutting action, reduces drag whilst clipping, and makes re-sharpening easier.
The fine blade is a popular blade for use on many horse breeds as well as some show cattle.
Premier blades can be used with Lister clippers.
