This is intended as a blade guide for dog owners and groomers seeking suitable detachable A5 type blades for varying coat clipping depths for husbandy purposes on their breed of dog. PLEASE NOTE: Blade sizes (#) may have the following letters prefixed after the size number. “F” or “FC” This denotes FULL or FULL CUT and as such blades bearing this prefix are designed to give a smooth “velvet” type finish. Blades without a prefix after their size are known as “SKIP TOOTH” blades . This type of blade have their alternate teeth shorter. Skip tooth blades will give a “BLENDED” finish to the coat CROSS BREEDS including curly, wiry and straight soft coated.With the very considerable number of cross breeds selection of blades with depend on the required length. Pulling of the matt is to be avoided at all cost! The cat will have a very shaved appearance in this area clipped, but the area will soon show signs of re-growth.
