| Moser MAX45 mains Electric Clipper |
| |
| Designed by MOSER of Germany the MAX45 is an exciting
new addition to an already prestigious range of clippers manufactured
by this International German Company who have a long history of creating
some of the most reliable clippers built. Many horse owners still
use the Rex Moser Clippers introduced two decades or more ago, which
have reputation for amazing performance, and longlevity.
Owners of nervous horses and other animals have been delighted
at once again being able to clip in a stress free manner when using
the amazing KM1 clipper - the fore runner to the KM2. The KM1 Clipper
amazed people by its sheer versatility, even professional operators
who normally don't rate these smaller clippers acknowledged the
outstanding performance of this machine, whether clipping horses,
cattle, alpacas, lamas, goats, or performing on a wide range of
dogs in a busy groomers' parlour.
The KM2 Clipper matches and builds upon the brilliant performance
already established by the KM1 not only in the field of clipping
horses, but as a totally professional dog parlour machine, meeting
fully the every day needs of a busy dog grooming parlour.
MOSER as usual, continues to display appreciation of customer requirements,
- building into their clippers the valuable design features - of
lightweight handling ability, low noise level, and cool running
under prolonged conditions. Understanding that not everybody enjoys
using a large and cumbersome handpiece. MOSER provide the operator
with a neatly shaped and comfortable to handle clipper body. This
is really appreciated when clipping the legs of horses or cattle,
when a long handpiece is a real pain! These values combined with
high quality engineering, reliability and affordable prices, make
the KM2 Clipper a new and exciting addition to the range of MOSER
machines already professionally established in the world of animal
clipping and grooming.

| CONCLUSION: |
| We have come to expect a high standard from Moser
products, The KM2 suggest these standards are being maintained. Any
new clipper enjoys a "honeymoon" period, but eventually the "day of
reckoning" comes and a need to establishes a reputation for reliability
and endurance is made or lost. Any clipper, whatever the make, requires
a competent Service Department with skilled operators to deal with
servicing and repairs effectively and efficiently. A clipper is only
as good as the blades it uses, therefore the effectiveness and skills
in re-sharpening blades all add to the public perception of a good
product. On their record Moser are in the top league for quality and
reliability. We have no reason to believe from what we have seen and
been told about this clipper that our confidence will not be upheld. |

| ON THE DOWN SIDE! |
| A clipper of this standard should be sold complete
with a plastic carrying case and not in the now dated image of a box.
It is disappointing that it was necessary to put the on/off switch
at the side rear end of the machine. It is safer to have switches
in close proximity of the operator's thumb in the case of an emergency
especially where animals are concerned. Lastly, as this machine is
likely to be introduced into the wider horse and cattle clipping arena's,
attention to the "wide" (horse and cattle) blade range is now important.
The range of blades available for horses and livestock is too limited
and this matter needs redressing with a degree of urgency. |
