| In recent years Andis along with a few other manufacturers
have had their problems, and clipper have failed to live up to expectations.
This is especially frustrating when people’s incomes and livelihoods
are put at risk by what to the consumer appears to be nothing more
than another endless string of problems.
Having met some of the top Andis Officials we have been impress
by their frankness about the problems associated with past machines,
which appear to have been inflicted by third parties in the course
of the production of component parts. We have been impressed by
the actual grooming parlour tests we have performed on the ANDIS
SUPER AGR+ model. It would be refreshing to see a dog clipper perform
well in professional grooming situations.
It is good to see that the thought and good design aspects are
carried through to the carrying case, which is spacious and easily
able to accommodate all the product items.
End users will appreciate the easy with which the battery power
pack unit can be attach and removed from the hand piece. Makes a
great change from some cordless machines, which can be very hard
to operate!
Most new clippers enjoys a "honeymoon" period, but eventually
the "day of reckoning" comes and a need to establishes
a reputation for reliability and endurance is made or lost. On the
face of it the ANDIS SUPER AGR + looks as if it will live up to
expectations - we remain cautiously optimistic!
This cordless clipper we feel will attract the attention of many
equine owners as well as a good few cattle exhibitors. The price
is very competitive to other cordless machines, the weight and balance
with the battery fitted it superior, and last but by no means least
the cost of spare batteries is highly attractive compared to others
Generally we liked what we saw, others who used it said the same,
it work well, and we feel it should do well in a consumer environment
