Persons considering making repairs to clippers themselves should be mindful such repairs may invalidate the warranty especially where it specifies repairs are to be carried out by an authorised service establishment or qualified engineer. Please refer to your clipper manual.
In addition repairs of an electrical nature or situations involving the main body casing being opened, legally require a "mandatory" electrical test to be undertaken at an approved repair centre before the machine is used again.

Stewart Oster - Yoke assembly

STEWART OSTER CLIPMASTER - Full yoke assembly - this includes the 6 oscillating springs - two sets of 3 either side of the yoke head.
Renewing is a simple operation for which you need a flat-headed screwdriver to undo the drive yoke screws (215322) either side of the head. Be sure to remove the washes (215290) each side and refit when replacing the yoke.
Whilst renewing the yoke assembly ensure you do not lose the brass drive block which is normally held in place by the yoke.
