SNOW BRIGHT"
One of the "old timers" - an old favourite with many both in the horse and dog world.
A professional shampoo and whitener widely to both whiten and brighten the hair. Ideal for all white and multi colours. Imparts high gloss, conditions and gives body to thin and limp coats. Non-irritating and contains no bleach, can be used on all colours.
Considered excellent for use on yellowed and stained or discoloured hair. Reduces the effects of static within the hair and helps to eliminates snarls and tangles.
Persistent and deep stains can be often removed with "Quick Clean" - one of the finest stain removers produced!
Has the great advantage that it can be used without wetting the coat with water, and is therefore ideal for emergencies on say show day!
However it should be noted that urine stains - especially on female sheep, rabbits especially and some dog breeds these are some of the hardest stains to combat, and often there is little one can do especially if the staining has been allowed to go on for a degree of time. In effect it kills the hair/staple shaft leaving it a dull lifeless colour in the remaining hair strands.
Once this happens then there is little a stain remover can do and you have to adopt a different approach - "faking!" Therefore if you know an animal has this tendency act upon it with a degree of urgency - especially if a show animal!
Dairy udders, horses legs and socks and sheep legs and faces, cats and dogs and show white rabbits in particular can all benefit from the remarkable whitening power of "Ultra White Chalk." (As well as certain shampoos such as "Super White Plus. )
"Ultra White Chalk." is not like any ordinary chalk, it has a unique "staying" power and whether rubbed in or applied with a talcum power "shaker" it leaves the hair a brilliant and vibrant white which will not rub off like most chalk.
A valuable alternative application is to mix some into a creamy paste and apply with a cloth or brush, (a cheap shaving brush works well!) This method is often applied to the faces of Texel sheep and to various dairy cow udders where whitening is desirable.
