It is important when replacing this part that the two hair spring sprigs (see red arrows) are correctly slotted in the two holes provided in the press button/blade release lever, to ensure correct working.

It is important when fitting the blade release lever that you ensure the two hair spring sprigs of the holding plate (blade hinge assembly) are correctly slotted into the two holes provided (see red arrows) before you refit and tighten the screws to the clipper head. If this is not done correctly the blade may not fit or release correctly.
