Mains powered clippers
Angora Goat clippers
A selection of professional machines suitable for clipping angora goats and rabbits, as well as many of the goat breeds with hair textured coats. Due to their slimness and size these machine will appeal to lady users. Careful selection of the most suitable blades available will greatly enhance performance.
Light duty - livestock & horses
Light duty clippers are intended for use on individual or small numbers of horses and ponies and a few exhibition cattle. Essentially were the load is light and not intended for continuous or professional use. Some will of course work in this capacity but it may severely reduce the working life of the machine.
Heavy duty - livestock & horses
Heavy-duty clippers suitable for clipping both horses and cattle in large numbers. Most heavy-duty clippers can be adapted for use on sheep and alpacas by using a sheep head attachment and by using suitable cutters and combs.
Contractors clippers - mains powered
Heavy-duty machines selected on performance reliability, which can be used with a wide range of blades thereby offering the ability to cope with all types of clipping tasks, and all species of hair coated animals. Conversion to a sheep shearing machine can be achieved by inter - changing the clipper head on most listed.
Mains powered clippers for nervous horses
A selection of professional cordless clippers with the emphasis on the elimination of trailing cables and low noise levels essentially for use on nervous animals especially horses. Whilst no clipper is totally silent those within this range have very low noise factors. Despite the seemingly small size with the correct application these machine are highly successful
Dog clippers - professional - single speed
Mains powered single speed dog clippers for professional use in grooming parlours, large kennels, and veterinary surgeries.
All the clippers listed use the "detachable" type blades, and with the exception of the Aesculap Favorita II will accept the "detachable" blade of most manufacturers.
Dog clippers - professional - two speed & variable
Mains powered two-speed dog clippers for professional use in grooming parlours, large kennels, and veterinary surgeries.
All the clippers listed use the "detachable" type blades of the differnt principle manufacturers. Detachable blades are blades which do not require any tensioning.
Dog clippers - pet owners - clipped breeds
Clippers suitable for owner of breeds such as Spaniels, Poodles and Terriers or any other breed which require a degree of serious clipping to produce accepted grooming styles.

Dog clippers - pet owners - non clipped breeds
A selection of clippers and trimmers for pet owners with breeds that do not require fashionable clipping such as with Spaniels, Poodles and Terriers or other breeds with clipping requirements.
Such clippers are intended for use on cats or dogs, being clipped for husbandry purposes or general tidying.
Cat clippers for Long haired cats
Longhaired cats are often prone to varying degrees of matting of their fur. Invariably you need to clip away the fur to get rid of the worst matts.
The selection of clippers listed, which all use detachable blades, are extremely suitable for this type of task and with the selection of the correct blade will not cause the cat any distress.
Small animal clippers
Low powered economy type clippers suitable for light facial work and small amounts of body clipping. Useful on pets such as rabbits, ferrets and similar type pets.
Not always suitable for work on larger animals - especially horses legs and feathers.
Not considered suitable for any serious dog clipping
IMPORTANT CUSTOMER INFORMATION
The policy of providing the normal two spare "drive levers" in with all new Laube clipper kits, has now been discontinued by the Laube Clipper Corporation of USA..
The Laube UK Distributor informs us, that this is due to the introduction of a new type of blade drive lever which is now fitted to all factory models. As this new drive lever is claimed to stronger and should therefore have a longer service life, it is considered unnecessary for spare "drive levers" to be provided.
New replacement drive levers will continue to be available and can be obtained from Peasridge in the normal way along with other Laube clipper service product items and clipper tune up equipment. We also keep a stock of the most frequently required spare parts for Laube Clipper repairs. Any customer ordering should distinguish at the time of ordering which blades lever model they require as there are two non interchangeable types
We would like to alert all existing and potentially new customers to the fact they may experience considerable difficulties in snapping their "detachable" blades (whatever the make) shut against the clipper head and thus correctly engaging the blade drive lever prior to operational use, when using either a new clipper (irrespective from whom you have purchased) for the first few times, or in case when clippers have been repaired and subsequently fitted with the new type of drive lever.
You can check if the correct "engagement" has been made by running the motor at the low speed and noting if the cutter (upper) blade is moving back and forth across the lower (comb) blade. If it is fine - all is working correctly. If not then the correct "engagement" has not been made - and you have a problem!
According the UK Distributor recommendations, which we are happy to pass on to Laube customer - the remedy to this problem is simple. Your blades will snap on just as before, but initially you may need to apply far greater pressure than previously used, when closing the blade against the clipper head. It is further suggested by Laube's UK representatives that after 6 or 7 times of fitting the blade on and off in this manner you will find they connects easily!
Any Laube clipper purchased from Peasridge will have had the blade tested to ensure proper connection several times, therefore customers can rest assured machine purchased from us are shipped in full working order.
