Whilst strictly a horse blade for standard winter clipping it is a touch finer than the pure "hunter" clip. By far the most popular blade for winter clipping of horses.

Whilst strictly a coarse blade set for dirty cattle, the Li-A 7s blade is often popular with horse owners for a coarser coated clip and is considered very good on many leg "feathers."
Clipping into the hair and with a slight upward angle of the clipper head, this blade with leave around 3 mm of uncut hair.
Cattle owners find the blade good for clipping out the backs of cattle in late autumn before yarding or winter housing.

The A106 blade is suitable for the following Liscop horse/cattle clipping machines: -
Whilst strictly a standard blade for cattle the A106 blade is sometimes used by horse owners as a coarse clipping blade and is said to be good on many leg "feathers." (A fine 2mm clip can be obtained according to how you angle the head when clipping, (going with the hair direction) whilst if you clip with the blade flat you will achieve a 4mm clip)
Those who want a longer length of hair on the "feathers" should use a barber's comb and comb out the hair before clipping across the comb blade. This is similar to the way human male hair is often cut.

BLADES - LISCOP - A707 - Extra course

An extra coarse blade for cattle, which is good for clipping, out the backs of cattle in late autumn before yarding or winter housing. A good blade for cleaning and preparing cattle in readiness for sale or slaughter.
When used, clipping into the hair, with a slight upward angle of the clipper head, it will leave around 7 mm of uncut hair. You can vary the depth of cut slightly according to the angle you clip at.
