Latch assembly unit which is located behind the hinge assembly and which acts as a lock on the blade when "snapped" shut against the clipper head.

PLEASE NOTE:
When fitting it is important to ensure the two hair thin metal spring sprigs are both seated in the small pin sized holes on the right and left hand sides of the latch assembly as these are essential to the latch release control.
Position and keep both in place before re-screwing both latch and hinge to the clipper head.
