LAUBE - Hinge assembly

Fits all Laube models.
Unscrew the old hinge assembly from the clipper head, and fit existing latch assembly taking care to ensure the two hair thin metal spring sprigs (see red arrows) are both correctly seated in the small pin sized holes on the right and left hand sides of the latch assembly as these are essential to the latch release control working correctly.
The latch release assembly is located and fixed behind the hinge assembly.
Position and keep both in place before re-screwing both latch and hinge to the clipper head.
PLEASE NOTE:
Customers may consider it prudent to renew the latch assemble when re-placing the old hinge assembly.

Latch assembly unit which is located behind the hinge assembly and which acts as a lock on the blade when "snapped" shut against the clipper head.
