do not have carbon brush replacements as such as they are fitted with modern field motors and as such the motor unit has to be replaced.

When un-screwing the carbon brush housing caps, the existing carbon brush and spring may "fly" out!
When replacing please note the carbon brush is insert first - the spring next!

The Zytel head may be fitted to the following models:

Early models of the Lister "Laser," Lister "Stablemate," and Lister "Showman".
may be fitted with a cream or off white Zytel head, as shown below.
The current Zytel head benefits from improved technology, has a better wearing ability and improved bearings. It is now black in colour and is interchangeable to all models as listed above.
Heads for the Lister "Neon" and "Star" are different and the "Zytel" head should not be used.
