Designed in conjunction with elite shearer's from all over the globe this handpiece exceed the needs and requirements of both professional shearer's and farmers alike. Innovative with a new style ergonomically slim hand grip for extra comfort and control, new "chicken feet "design and a new triple twin bearing system, the Icon provides longer working life with lower maintenance. The fork system is compatible with cutters and combs of other manufacturers.
The colour of this updated ICON handpiece is now purple. The main change versus the former yellow handpiece is the improved back joint cover, which comes now in a version without rivets. The edges of these rivets tended to become sharp after several thousand sheep shorn, becoming a source for accidental cuts in the skin. The new back joint cover on the purple version of the Heiniger ICON handpiece eliminates this possible risk, by bearing the new improved version of the back joint cover. The new purple ICON handpiece are now available, at no higher costs than the previous model.
Available with either Pin or Worm fittings. Not supplied with ferrule metal collar.
