Hauptner cutters and combs are made from superior German steel and forged in traditional German methods to produce a high quality-shearing comb, which will give years of service if properly look after and cleaned after use. Combs can be resharpened many times in the course of their working life
Known as the "Economy" comb the 87273-comb blade has 13 teeth, and a shearing face measuring 92mm.
Ideal comb for the more experienced shearer as the wider cutting face increased the cutting width per "blow" This lower blade plate has protruding teeth for improved gathering of the fleece as you shear.
