Made in Germany by Aesculap - the veterinary manufacturer, this is a quality finished hand operated hair clipper with comfortable cutting action, which is slightly less of a strain on the hand if you are intending covering a large area.
A two bladed shear with single bow and approx. 30 mm blade designed for use as a hand-operated clipper. Correctly used they give a finished cut length of between 1 and 2mm.
Blades can be re-sharpen as required.
Hand clipper length: approx 6.75-inch (170mm)
Although harder work it is an alternative to using electric clippers which can be disturbing for any nervous animals. Can be used on a variety of animals from horses to smaller domestic pets including cats and dogs.
A useful hair clipping tool on horses especially nervous ones, and can be operated successfully on sheep or goats once you have acquired the "knack".

The standard blade width is slightly narrower than a dog-clipping blade - around 38mm,
Has adjustable tension screw.
The blade is not suitable for sheep fleeces.
