13mm Flat nosed - Black - Large
Suitable for most medium to large size ram breeds.
The circumference measurement of the head strap (A) can be adjusted from 17-21 inches and the nose strap (B) extends to a maximum circumference of 14-inches.
(This reduces as you tighten any attached lead rein.)
A popular range of 13mm wide halters in three sizes made by our own craftsmen from high quality English leather.
Designed along the lines of a cattle halter, with brass buckles and ring, the leather chinstrap slackens when the sheep stands at ease. Ideal for the professional handling of show trained sheep. Fitted with smart brass buckle and rings.
A lead rein as shown (not included.) in similar leather to match is available as an optional extra - please see in our "Lead Rein" section.
Please note: These quality made leather halter are intended for show ring use only. Whilst they are robust for the purposes for which they are intended, they are not considered suitable for "on-farm" use nor for the purposes of haltering whilst washing and similar tasks. When such tasks are involved you should use either cotton working halters or cotton adjustable halters.
To keep the leather of the halter in good condition, please apply saddle soap at regular intervals. This not only preserves the leather, but also keeps it supple. Leaving halters unclean and un-soaped in the show box over the winter, will only shorten the working life of the product!

13mm Lambs halter - Small
Made from high quality English leather this attractively designed halter is suitable for the lambs of most of the medium to larger sized breeds. Cut to a slim 13mm, it is fitted with brass buckle, studs and rings. Generous adjustment built into the head and nose strap.
The circumference measurement of the head strap (A) will adjust from 12 -15 inches and a maximum diameter of 12 inches on the nose strap - this is reduced as the lead rein is tightened. (B)
Lead reins in matching quality leather are available as an optional extra. These compliment the halters and give a smart turnout to your show exhibit. (Please see our Lead rein section)

20mm Ram halter - General purpose.
Made from black English leather by our own craftsmen the halter is fitted with stud fixing as opposed to stitched. The design follows the "cross over" foal slip style, with ring under the chin.
Will fit most medium to large ram breeds. Has good adjustment. One size only. Nickel fittings.
