Most items will require a signature on arrival at their destination.
In the case of International shipping, and outside the UK mainland, we only charge the actual cost as paid by us which is based on the gross weight of your order. Please ensure you always quote the MAKE & MODEL of any machine for which you are seeking parts and if possible the part number from the diagram above if shown. It is impossible to avoid errors if customers do not order with the correct part numbers.
In situation where our diagrams do not provide either a part number or identification, please supply clear and in-focus jpeg images. Images should show the full upper body aspect of the machine, and underside image of the machine head with or without blades fitted. Images of identification plates/labels are useful but not essential.

In the UK it is mandatory for an electrical test to be undertaken by a professional engineer before the machine is returned to the customer for future use.
All electrical parts and images describe and or shown on this web page are offered for sale for use with the 220/240volt electrical supply system as operated in the UK and certain parts of Europe unless otherwise stated. Certain internal parts are not suitable for non 220/240v units.
Certain parts are obtainable for 110/115v machines, but customers need to state at the time of ordering if their machine is 110/115v rated.
Customers from the USA and countries outside of the UK and European Countries should check their electrical supply rating and seek professional advice from a qualified electrician if in any doubt, before placing an order. Parts once supplied are normally not returnable! In those exceptional cases where parts are return, the cost of shipping back to Peasridge is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
Please remember you may invalidate any manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions by either making internal inspection or repairs yourself. In the event of a repair or service to a clipper or trimmer within the warranty period you should return it to the original supplier or to a stated authorised service centre to protect your warranty cover period. However many simple maintenance aspects which do not involve the opening of the machine body casing can be easily carried out by owners. Often detailed instructions regarding these operations can be found in your clipper/shearing machine manual relating to such parts.

INSTRUCTIONS for fitting flexible drive cable to the DOUBLE K 401 POWER CLIPPER.

IMPORTANT! - AT ALL TIMES OBSERVE STANDARD ELECTRICAL SAFETY!
Do not attempt to switch on this machine without the appropriate electrical current converter unit
DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN under the age of 18 years to attempt to use or handle this equipment at any time. Novices should only use this equipment with an experienced operator in attendance at all times.
Fully check your clipper - with blade fitted after fitting cable and before use on any animals.

When fitting the flexible cable shaft it is recommended that you have the motor connected to your mains power supply and switch on with the variable speed switch turned to the lowest power position - sufficient to just rotate the shaft.
To change a cable you need to unscrew the two counter sunk "Allen" screws in the alloy shaft at the end of the blue plastic cased motor - see figure: 1. To do this you will need a very small "Hex" or "Allen" key. Do not attempt to use a key which is not the right fitting otherwise you may damage the Allen screw.
DO NOT unscrew the two Philips type "Possidrive" headed screws as this will release the alloy adapter shaft from the plastic motor casing.
With the motor running at a slow speed insert the shaft pin into the rotating slot (see figure: 2) until it engages and you can confirm this by seeing the other end rotating. Once engaged refit the Allen screws securely.
With the motor still running at a slow speed engage the other end of the cable shaft into the rear end of the 401 clipper.
If correctly inserted you will see the clipper drive lever moving.
PLEASE NOTE:
Before attempting to use or operate the clipper we strongly recommend you attach suitable blades and check the machine is working correctly before applying to any animal.

PLEASE NOTE:
Ensure the two hair thin metal spring sprigs protruding from the hinge assembly (see red arrows) are both correctly seated in the small pin sized holes on the right and left hand sides of the latch assembly as these are essential to the latch release control working correctly.
The latch release assembly is located and fixed behind the hinge assembly.
Position and keep both in place before re-screwing both the latch and hinge to the clipper head.
