HOW TO SEND YOUR MACHINE FOR SERVICE/REPAIR
Unless you deliver your machine by hand to us you are almost certainly likely to dispatch it by some means of postal/carrier delivery service.

There are certain facts that one should be mindful of regarding all items irrespective of size or shape when shipped by either postal or carrier service.

We would strongly recommend that you securely package your item, preferably in the box it was originally supplied in. If this is not possible use a strong box that allows for protective padding inside and around the item - taking special care to protect any sensitive part against knocks or blows in transit.

Make sure you have inserted correspondence that gives:
Your name and a return address.
A contact mobile or land line telephone number.
Please give instructions as to what is required to be done - if the product has a fault please convey in detail the circumstances of the fault. The more information you can give the better we are able to advice you of the cause and future preventative measures.

Most carrier services operate mechanised facilities in their distribution hubs. These not dissimilar to airport luggage conveyor belts and we are all familiar with the "gentleness" of those systems! Therefore when preparing your blower/dryer for shipment package it both carefully and securely.

Use a strong box, sealing it securely. Under the heading "SENDER" Clearly mark the name and address of the sender on the outside of the box.(Should it become lost/mislaid that may assist in the recovery!)

WHAT A SERVICE INVOLVES.

Briefly once a machine is with us our engineers check it thoroughly with special attention paid to safety aspects. Therefore all plugs, cables and switches are fully checked for damage or faults. The elements which are highly delicate and attract a considerable degree of hair and fluff require skilled cleansing. Carbon brushes, providing they are not an integral part of the motor and accessible, are check for replacement. Once the service is completed the machine is subjected to a legally required and mandatory electrical test before being return to its owner.
