A valuable accessory for increasing the depth of cut so as to leave a greater degree of wool or fibre on the animal and thereby allowing extra protection in the cooler months or during spells of unpredictable weather.
Valuable when shearing older or thin sheep.
Help protect against sunburn also.
A Comb Lifter when fitted to a normal standard type comb will leave an additional 1cm or 5/16th of an inch aditional cover.
The Comb Lifter can be fitted under any wide comb, there no special screws are needed, and it is fitted using the screws as on the machine.
Valuable for use with older sheep and also alpacas when greater depth is required.
