Carder wire for replacement on your existing carder block is available in either a full 26 by 6 inch 7 ply strip with web backing or it can be ordered by the inch as required.

When ordering by the inch remember to allow for trimming to the desired shape.

As a rough guide most carders require at least six inches of carder wire.

To replace the wire pads on Peasridge made carders the following widths of wire are needed.

Supreme carder 7-inches
Royal carder 6-inches
Country carder 5-inches
Champion carder 5-inches

As a rough guide most other carders require at least six inches of carder wire.

When ordering a 26-inch strip, as a rough guide one can refurbish about 5 carders of average size.
